Michael Austin

Michael is the co-founder and former artistic director of Vermont's critically acclaimed Sky Meadow Chamber Players.
He has performed extensively as a chamber musician in New York City and throughout New England.
Michael graduated from the Julliard School in New York as a Lambert Prize recipient, studying with John Ferrillo and Thomas Stacy. His other notable teachers include Robert Atherholt, Elizabeth Camus, and John Mack.
Before embarking on his musical journey, Michael was a National Merit Scholar pursuing a medical career at Rice University in Houston, Texas.
