Sally joined the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra in 2005, soon after earning her Master of Music degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music.

Sally also holds a Bachelor of Music from the Australian National University in her hometown of Canberra, Australia.

As a fellowship recipient, Sally participated in the 2004 Tanglewood Music Center Summer Festival in the United States. Her extensive orchestral experience includes performances with the Canberra, Akron, and Canton Symphony Orchestras.
