Bret McKenzie performs in Creepy-Crawly Carnival.

Bret McKenzie is a comedian, actor, writer, musician, and producer originally from New Zealand. He recently penned original songs for THELMA THE UNICORN, now streaming on Netflix. McKenzie is best known as half of the Grammy award winning musical comedy duo FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS along with Jermaine Clement. Together, they have released four CDs, toured internationally, and created and starred in HBO’s FLIGHT OF THE CONCORDS for two seasons. McKenzie also worked as the music supervisor and wrote original songs for the Muppet movies, THE MUPPETS, and MUPPETS MOST WANTED. He received an Academy Award for Best Original Song for “Man or Muppet”. Bret also worked as the music supervisor for DORA AND THE LOST CITY OF GOLD. In 2022 Bret released his first solo album, Songs Without Jokes, and toured internationally.
