Discounted tickets to NZSO performances are available for school groups.

Attending a concert with your school group

Are you looking for innovative teaching ideas and new ways to increase your students’ knowledge and enjoyment of symphonic music? Help your students experience the wonders of live music in a theatre setting at a special discounted price.

The NZSO provides discounted tickets for school groups on a limited basis for each of our performances.

• Student tickets are $10 (must have a minimum of 6 students), $20 for each teacher for most concerts.

• For the following concerts, tickets are $15 (must have a minimum of 6 students), $25 for teachers.
  Maxim Vengerov - Plays Sibelius
  Jupiter - Mozart & Copland
  The Planets - Elgar & Holst

• Two complimentary teacher tickets for groups with 20+ students

• Additional adult tickets are $20/$25 (unless the number of adults exceeds the ratio below)

• Seats are in C or D reserve.

• No less than a 2:1 student to teacher/adult ratio – any adults above this ratio are charged at full price.

• Payment can be by credit card or bank transfer.
