Applications for the 2025 Conducting Fellowship have now closed.
Application information for the 2026 Conducting Fellowship will be available in September 2025.

We require the following documents and files for your application:
Cover letter outlining your musical aspirations
CV
Biography (150 words)
A landscape headshot photo
2x video recordings of yourself conducting, either in rehearsal or concert. At least one must be an instrumental ensemble.
If you are selected, the NZSO will cover transport and accommodation costs associated with the Conducting Fellowship.
There are eight positions available as a Fellow/Associate Fellow. The number of Interns will vary from year to year.
ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must be New Zealand residents or citizens based in New Zealand.

08 Dec 2025 – Positions for 2026 NZSO Conducting Fellowship offered
15 Dec 2025 – Final date for accepting place
