Steeped in over three decades of history, countless performers have graced its stage and infused the floorboards with their own passion, dedication and love for performance.

The venue has a 500+ seating capacity, a bespoke orchestra pit and a world-class fly tower. Audiences are treated to sophisticated experiences that deliver top-quality acoustic and visual delights.

Accessibility

  • Baycourt has six allocated wheelchair spaces available in the Addison Theatre, plus two wheelchairs in the venue for patron use. When you arrive, please see one of Baycourt front of house staff who will be more than happy to assist you

  • There are three wheelchair accessible bathrooms in the main foyer

  • A hearing loop is available in the Addison Theatre, from rows F to S

  • Licensed hearing and guide dogs are welcome at Baycourt – please let them know if you are bringing your four-legged friend with you so they can arrange appropriate seating for you both

  • There are two on-street mobility parks on Durham Street opposite Baycourt’s front entrance, three mobility parks in the Tauranga City Library and off-street car park

  • There are two on-street mobility parks on Hamilton Street and three mobility parks in the Masonic Park off-street car park.
