About
The Bruce Mason Centre was opened by then-Governor General Sir Michael Hardie Boys in 1996. The Centre plays a lead role in arts and entertainment on the North Shore. From music to dance to comedy (it’s one of the hubs for the New Zealand International Comedy Festival), the Bruce Mason Centre offers something for everyone. The 1119-seat theatre can also be transformed into a flat floor space for events hosting up to 450 guests.
Accessibility
A dedicated drop-off zone is located near the main entrance, parallel to Killarney Street. This can be accessed from either Killarney Street or The Promenade. There are six mobility car park spaces in the Killarney Street Car Park
The theatre has dedicated mobility seats and a lift to access all levels. To book wheelchair seats, please contact Ticketmaster. Companion seats are also available
Visually impaired patrons can call Ticketmaster before 5pm on the day of the show, and they will make sure the front-of-house team is aware of your needs in advance. Guide dogs are also welcome
There is a hearing aid loop available for all shows. Contact Ticketmaster for advice on the best seats to book.
